The aim of the Household Division Association Colchester Branch, known locally as the Colchester Guards Club is to foster friendship and camaraderie among serving and non serving members of all regiments in the Household Division.
CCTV, Networks & Audio Visual Services
Please always take a moment to remember all those who have served our regiments today and in the past that are no longer with us and spare a thought for the families and friends who mourn their Loss having made the ultimate sacrifice.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

The inaugural annual clay fun shoot was a huge success and looks set to be an annual event a full report on this excellent day out will be published later.
Next Up It's
Games Day at Paul and Val’s this year will be on Sunday 30th August. A similar pattern will be followed from last year, that is to say, the event will ‘kick off’ at 11.00, when on arrival, athletes will be offered performance enhancing drugs in the shape of caffeine cleverly disguised as tea and coffee, with perhaps a little ‘dunker’ to go with it.
Games will be available all day for participation as and when the ‘spirt moves you’, or not. There will be a lunch time Bar B Q and an offering of some more caffeine and further ‘dunkers’ to replace lost energy for you return home. Although there will be many games on offer, the only competition to be marked will be the air rifle target shooting, the winner of which will be presented with the ‘fine Septemus trophy’ as presented last year. There will be an entry fee of £6 to cover costs and a raffle, so please bring a prize with you.
